The S13 is a middle offering in Easton's Stealth line of hockey sticks. Similar to Easton's top end sticks, the S13 features Kevlar wrap shaft construction and a blade shaft assembly that is fused during the molding process (Multi-Rib™ manufacturing process). Shaft geometry is similar to the S19 with slightly concave front and back walls and flat to slightly rounded top and bottom walls. Both clear and grip finishes are offered for the S13.
Unlike Easton's top-end offerings, the S13 is a clunky, blade-heavy, average performer. In addition to its 518 gram weight, the 59% blade to 41% shaft weight distribution feels very blade heavy. Despite the blade heavy feel, stick handling offered decent puck feel and feedback. Shooting scores for the S13 were rather average and accuracy was rated less than average.
Bottom Line: An average offering with excellent fit and finish, rather ho hum performance, and a very blade heavy design and feel. There are better sticks at this price point. 72 points.
